Activity description
Get ready for a fun bike tour around the beautiful island of Sant'Erasmo in Venice. Ride with a local guide and enjoy a fine honey tasting on a local farm!
Sant'Erasmo is the largest island of the Venetian Lagoon, known for its large fruit and vegetable fields. The island is mostly populated by local farmers producing delicious delicacies, such as honey.
Your bike tour will start in Venice, where you'll meet up with your guide and hop on the "Vaporetto", the typical ferry. After reaching Sant'Erasmo, you'll enjoy a short walk to the bikes. Immerse yourself in the serene landscape of the island as you ride through its fields and admire the slow-paced life of its people. Your bike tour will lead you to a local honey farm, where you'll treat yourself to a sweet break. Feel free to ask the farmers as many questions as you want and learn everything about bees! Hop back on your bike and ride to the northern hand of Sant'Erasmo and admire the colourful houses of Burano and the Monastery of San Francesco del Deserto.
At the end of this bike tour, your guide will return to Venice by ferry. You can follow them or stay a bit longer in Sant'Erasmo to enjoy its beauty for a little bit longer. The ferry back to Venice runs pretty often, so why not take the later one?
Gather your friends and reserve your tickets for this bike tour in Sant'Erasmo. Discover the hidden gems of the Venitian Lagoon as you enjoy a relaxing ride through the fields and taste some delicious honey!
